Step 1 — Measure the widest part of the chest behind the front legs. Match to the size chart.
Step 2 — Slip over the head, guide the front legs through, clip the belly strap.
Step 3 — The two-finger check. Two fingers should slide under every strap with slight resistance. Tighter = too small. Whole hand fits = too loose.
Step 4 — Front D-ring should sit centered on chest. If it slides to one side, adjust the chest strap.
Step 5 — After the first walk, check under armpits for redness. A correct fit leaves no marks.
